What if I can't find my bank on Plaid? ›

If you are unable to find your bank institution on Plaid, you will need to manually enter your bank account and routing numbers. This will allow Plaid to verify your account using micro-deposits in order to set up direct deposit. Plaid will match your information with what is on file at the financial institution.

Your bank login information is incorrect. Your bank requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) or has updated their authentication requirements. Your bank's connection is down. Your bank is not supported.

You can connect by entering in your account and routing number by choosing the manual connection option right underneath the Plaid option. Connecting manually requires micro deposit identify verification. Micro deposits require you to verify the account by submitting test deposits into the app.

The Cash app has partnered with Lincoln savings bank to connect with Plaid. All the financial services like issuing debit cards, etc are provided through Lincoln savings bank.

Log in to your bank's website or mobile app and find the option to link an external account in the dashboard or settings, which will likely say “Link external account” or “Add external account.” Select or type in the financial institution that you want to externally link to.

You can log in to online or mobile banking for one of the accounts you want to link. In the banking menu, you'll want to look for the option to link external accounts. You'll need to enter the routing number and account number to start the process.

Using Plaid To Link Your Bank Account to Cash App

In your Cash App account, navigate to your profile. Select “Linked Banks,” then “Link Bank.” Choose your bank and follow the prompts. Log in to your bank account through Plaid.

You can delete financial accounts you've connected using Plaid through Plaid Portal at any time. This will delete this data from Plaid's systems and prevent any connected apps from accessing any additional data via Plaid for these accounts going forward.

Plaid can't connect to your financial institution reliably enough: not all banks allow Plaid to connect your information to third party apps. In this case you may struggle to link your account to Plaid for that specific app, even if you've used Plaid before with that account and different apps.

Your Bank can also help you get details about, any other accounts linked to your name and number. Just get in touch with your bank, by visiting the branch, with your Aadhaar card, and PAN Card, and they will check it for you.
